This episode features the EDUS (Erich Durn und Söhne) faceting machine from Germany.

I believe the machine comes from near Idar-Oberstein, Germany. The EDUS machine company possibly started around the 1950's and ended in 1997 but was later continued by an employee with a modified handpiece under the name ALGE from 1997-2008.
