After hunting public marshes in the morning in open country from the ground, K.C. decides to make the long haul deep into public ground with his saddle, bow, and grunt call looking for deer.

The evening seems like it almost may end as a bust, with the only animal showing being a Boone and Crockett possum. That is until a ginormous whitetail buck appears; cruising downwind of some doe bedding. K.C. calls to him and the buck turns 180º and heads strait in to his stand looking for a fight! Then, a giant goes down on Public! However, its not without drama! A well-placed but questionable shot, local sabotage, and private land fences all attempt to cause K.C. grief, but the hunter prevails!
