The Volkswagen Atlas is a three-row 7-passenger SUV or crossover built on a shared platform with other VW products, called MQB. This new VW Atlas model will be available as a 2018 model with front wheel drive FWD or all wheel drive AWD. The base engine is a 2.0L turbocharged with 238 or a VR6 with 280hp. The VR6 is matched to the latest 4Motion VW AWD system. Both the 4-cylinder and VR6 get an 8-speed automatic.
