Spicy Mackerel Fish Curry🐟|Authentic Maharashtrian Style Bangda Fish Curry Recipe| बांगडा करी रेसिपि | Bangada Rassa Maharashtrian Style | Bangada Kari banane ki Recipe | Bangadyache Kalwan
Here is a recipe for a Spicy Mackerel Curry that my family knows and loves. It’s called Bangadyache Kalwan or Bangada Rassa which means “Spicy Mackerel Curry” in Maharashtra. The dish packs a lot of flavor and heat, which is balanced by the addition of kokum, a type of tamarind used mainly in Maharashtra, Konkan, and Gujarati cuisines. Please use chillies as per your heat tolerance.
Enjoy this Rassa (curry) with steamed rice and some salads.
So here’s the recipe from my kitchen to yours.
