Did you know this in George of the Jungle? The working title of Dana Olsen's screenplay was "Gorilla Boy" (Olsen's son's nickname). He purposefully avoided Disney while shopping the screenplay to the studios since he was aware that they had the film rights to George of the Jungle and reasoned that they wouldn't be interested in another Tarzan-type parody. But to his surprise, Disney enthusiastically looked at (and purchased) Olsen's story because, as it turned out, they didn't have a script for the film. Another interesting thing to know about the movie is that almost all of the cartoon series' elements from George of the Jungle (1967) are featured in this film, including Jay Ward's famous "Never argue with the narrator" statement. Great isn't it.! #shorts #georgeofthejungle #didyouknow #moviefacts #moviedetails #brendanfraser
