Police scored a major success in their fight against drugs with the arrest of two men and seized 345.4kg of ganja worth RM880,000 from them on Monday and Wednesday.
Also seized from the duo, aged 27 and 33, were three cars — a Toyota Camry, a Volkswagen and an Audi — worth RM140,600, bringing the total seizure to RM1.02 million.
Federal Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligence/ Operations) principal assistant director Senior Assistant Commissioner Lucas Anak Aket said a police team comprising the Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department and the General Operations Force Northern Brigade, launched an operation on Monday after receiving a tip off on ganja-trafficking activity.
