A Trip to Thousand Islands could be a spectacular experience. Floating mansions and villas across the St Lawrence River. Flavors of 19th century architectural style. Swami Vivekanandan from India was here at the Thousand Islands Park, William Island for several weeks way back in 1895 delivering lectures on Vedantic philosophy. This is an important Indian connection with these Islands.

From Alexandria Bay, Uncle Sam Boat Tours will take the tourists around these Islands. This could be a memorable experience as I had on 23rd of July 2017.


Perhaps, you may miss the vitality of the place because on the day I toured around it, it was more or less cloudy.
