Kanpur Violence | We spoke to the DCP (East) Kanpur Pramod Kumar and DCP (West) Kanpur to know the the preparation of security as they go for a security drill. Uttar Pradesh stepped up vigil ahead of the Friday prayers today, a week after Kanpur violence. The increased alertness is also due to a letter of the threat issued by terror outfit Al-Qaeda regarding suicide attacks in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and UP. The UP police has also started a crackdown on Kanpur rioters.
Posters have been pasted across the city to identify people who were behind the riots. Police has taken action against leaders, clerics, activists and even journalists for their alleged hate speeches. Watch the video to know more.
