Hello Friends!!!

I am into teaching for the past 20 years and at present working as the Assistant Professor and Head, Department of History, Queen Mary's College (A), Mylapore, Chennai

This video will highlight on the role played by Indian women who fought with true spirit and undaunted courage in the roughest and toughest for national honour and independence. The list of great women whose names have gone down in history for their dedication and undying devotion to the service of motherland is a long one.

As India celebrates 74 years of independence, I am extremely happy and proud to honour the lives and exemplary work of those women by paying this visual tribute and registering a “Big Salute” in History.

It would be helpful for the school and college students while they pursue their studies in History, for the aspirants of various competitive examinations and for the general public.
