My channel is being shadowbanned?! Does youtube block videos for stuff like "God Bless" and "the success of this channel is all because of God and his will"? I never heard of this before until just recently but it makes a lot of sense considering the numbers I have seen. Over the last few days, I have seen a very quick drop of views per video. Considering our new reach to all our new subscribers in such a short period of time, we have only seen a LOSS of views. Our viewers are not being notified, and we are not being placed for people to see our content. After taking a poll in our community tab we have learned that a major percentage of our viewers are not getting notifications. We are being blocked from our viewers quite possibly. That is heartbreaking considering all the work we put into EVERY video.

The math doesn't add up, and after talking to one of our friends who deal with youtube channels that are Christian in nature, shadowbanning seems far more real now and the symptoms are showing in our channel. Though our videos can be found through the search, they aren't being suggested Shadow banning is blocking content to get to our viewers, by not sending notifications to our viewers of new content. So the question is how to get rid of the shadow ban, and this could be happening to you too, so how do we beat it? We have heard that paying for google advertising helps, so we have invested a bit of cash into a week campaign and will let you know what we find out in time, and see if the numbers climb again.
