When I purchased my first two cars I would buy AutoZone Duralast batteries and eventually they die after 2-3yrs and you replace them. I could jump start those batteries to get me to AutoZone for a replacement battery. When I bought my Acura I heard great things about Optima batteries and my friends told me it was the best you can buy, so I bought one. Unfortunately this battery left me stranded the night before this video was published...and it was the second Optima battery that leaves me stranded. The first Optima battery lasted me about 1.5yrs and this second Optima lasted me about 1.5 years too. They were both purchased new from Amazon. I'll be returning back to Auto Zone Duralast batteries from now on.

IF you do want an Optima, buy from AutoZone. Do not buy one from Amazon because they will not honor the warranty.

IF you want the cheapest priced batteries, go to Walmart, they have the lowest prices on car batteries.

***UPDATE ***
A lot of Optima fanboys don't like my video. [ Ссылка ] Here's a screenshot of the purchase date, November 2, 2018. The battery died on October 3, 2020. The reason why the battery screenshot shows a cost of $0 is because Amazon sent me a replacement because the first Optima died after about a year. The first optima was purchased May 9 2017. First Optima lasted 1 year and 5 months. Second Optima lasted about 1year and 6 months. Keep in mind that after the first battery died, I bought a used battery with a 1 year warranty because amazon said it would take 3 days for the new Optima to arrive. So I didn't install the second Optima until a few months after it arrived.
