Author and columnist Justin Smith says Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan should just "shut up", after the Premier's comments he values human life as opposed to other states.
Mr McGowan made the comments in WA parliament on Tuesday as a criticism of the COVID strategies of South Australia and other governments.
"The first thing the premiers need to do is look after their people, the second thing that they need to do is just shut the hell up when they're asked to comment about another state," Mr Smith told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
"I would suggest to all the premiers, particularly McGowan today ... just shut your trap and just do your job."
