Canyons Endurance - Poor Man's Western States / 100 mile ultramarathon in the foothills of Sierra Nevada Mountain range. After not being selected for 2023 UTMB, I find myself back in Auburn, CA, the Endurance Capital of the World, to collect more Running Stones for next year’s UTMB lottery. The race didn’t go as planned…Intense heat depleted me physically and the “wheels came off” during intense and steep climb to Foresthill.
