Jenny Kendler is a Chicago-based artist, activist and naturalist whose work “re-stories” the relationship between humans and the natural world. Her various projects address issues of ecological loss, climate change, and the threat of extinction. During this event, hosted by the MSU Broad on Wednesday, Mar. 17, Kendler discussed her wide-ranging practice with Elizabeth Corr (Manager of Art Partnerships, NRDC – Natural Resources Defense Council) and Steven L. Bridges (Associate Curator, MSU Broad). The solo exhibition, Jenny Kendler: The Long Goodbye, is on view January 15 – June 27, 2021, at the MSU Broad.
