After sitting on it for a few years I decided to try the BavSound Ghost underseat subs. There wasn’t much info out there about them, and I figured I’d give it a shot as I wanted to upgrade audio, and I figured I might as well document the process. The stock Harman Kardon sounds pretty darn good, but I was looking for more bass. It has plenty for most people but there’s nothing like a big ol sub in the trunk. I wanted more than factory, and sadly the Bavsound didn’t perform how I wanted. They fit and finish was darn well amazing and definitely gets the bling points over stock, but at the end of the day the stock HK system is still king. For a countryman with the base audio I think it would definitely be an upgrade, but if you have the HK amp like me from factory it’s better output than the Bavsound. I’d definitely be interested in trying their products out again in the future, I know they have potential. Mainly on base auto cars, I don’t think you can successfully add to HK system easily and smoothly. I’ll have a sound comparison coming soon, roughly within a week hopefully. In the end, I’m back to stock HK under seat subs
