I put this video up there simply to show people what problem I am having with my boat and leave it open to suggestions on how it should be fixed.

Update.. the fix was actually really simple as they always are once you know. I stuck the gunnel rail back on with a product called Sikaflex 291. It is a marine compliant glue. I held the gunnel in place with small screws while the glue took hold. This never caused me a days problem ever again after carrying out that repair.
