【Synopsis】
The imperial power was decayed, and the nobility was extravagant, regardless of the life and death of the people. The princess Wang Yan (played by Zhang Ziyi), and his childhood best friend, Zidan (played by Yang Youning), the third prince of his first love, were involved in the court battle because of the prophecy of "getting the world", and became a chess piece of his father. Yuzhang Wang Xiaoqi (Decorated by Zhou Zhou). On the night of the wedding, Xiao Qi was forced to leave the capital, Wang Yan was embarrassed and frustrated. Prince Helan (played by Yuan Hong) kidnapped Wang Yan to seek revenge on Xiao Qi, and the couple fell in love with each other because of a blessing in disguise. Wang Yan was touched by Xiao Qi's wish to guard the prosperity of the world's people. The two were separated because of the conflict between the king and Xie clans, and the empress (played by Wang Ji) was framed and separated. The two reunited after untold hardships, annihilated the rebels, and quelled the rebellion of the Helan tribe on the border. When the rebel generals rebelled, Wang Yan desperately escorted Zidan out of Beijing to protect his safety. Wang Yan led his troops to defend the city. After nine deaths, Xiao Qi finally clung to the border to calm the chaos and hurried back. In the end, the husband and wife joined hands to open up a new era and jointly protect the people of their homeland.
