In this class, we will discuss chemical-free lawn care, acceptance of “weeds’ in the lawn, lawn alternatives and how to reduce turf areas and turn them into pollinator havens. Join Lilly Browning and her guest, Frank Galdo, Florida-Friendly Landscaping Agent, Pasco County as they discuss breaking away from monotonous monocultures.
The Hernando County Florida-Friendly Landscaping program offers classes and workshops year-round to help residents learn how to save time, money and water when maintaining their lawns and gardens. Residents are invited to participate in free, online learning through virtual, interactive classes.
