After 45 countries and 4 continents, from Norway to Ethiopia, from Ecuador to Indonesia, for the first time in Serbia, the world's most important baroque flautist, conductor, Jean-Christophe Frisch and Andrej Jovanić, theorbist, in the Musical Dialogue (Dialogus musicus).
The project brings to life what musical Europe has always represented: a rich and vibrant combination of composers and artists creating a great musical heritage without borders. Originality and creativity in the approach gives opportunities for musical expression through the different nature of each of the instruments.
Early music is a part of the musical heritage that is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and a challenge for all musicians. Baroque music, as well as baroque rhetoric, is characterized by extensive and ornate speech, repetition and accumulation of epithets, symbols, allegories, metaphors... Baroque flutist Jean-Christophe Frisch is among the first historically informed performers who discovered how traditional oral music traditions can be used as a source of information for contemporary players of early music. In addition to his extremely large concert activity and tireless research, he is a lecturer in the interpretation of baroque music at the Sorbonne, Paris University, and his reference book Le Baroque Nomade is now used by many professors.
*Dialogus musicus (lat.) - musical dialogue: flute - lute, music - audience, French style - Italian style, musician - musician, instrument and musician, performer and listener
