Our wonderful patient seen here underwent large volume liposuction and Brazilian Buttock Lift. On examination, the patient was found to have excess fat of her neck, outer chest, upper back, midback, lower back, love-handles, waist, and sacrum. Large volume liposuction is considered any form of liposuction that removes up to 5 liters of fat in one setting. One of the keys to back contouring is the narrowing of the waistline achieved by removing fat in the love handles and flanks. Removal of this fat is challenging with traditional liposuction techniques because this fat is very fibrotic. Fortunately, this fat can be removable with VASER liposuction which Dr. Agha typically employs for large volume liposuction cases.
