Dr Mahathir Mohamad has defended the decision to revert to the sales and services tax (SST) some eight months after the goods and services tax (GST) was abolished, despite complaints that the move has not succeeded in bringing down prices.
Speaking on a wide range of topics in an exclusive interview with FMT recently, the prime minister said the cost of living was connected to wages.
