Endometriosis is a terrible problem which can cause pain or infertility. Diagnosing endometriosis can be difficult. it can sometimes be seen on ultrasound.but more often, surgery is needed to diagnose it. it would be really great if there was a blood test which could reliably diagnose or exclude endometriosis. recently scientists studied over 50 different blood tests in women who had endometriosis confirmed with surgery. Unfortunately none of the blood tests were very accurate. Hopefully, scientists will find something in the near future.
