The other day I showed you what an animal pee "burn patch" in the lawn looked like. In my lawn, it's basically a hand-sized dead brown spot in the lawn circled by a ring of thick green healthy-looking grass.
The ring of thick grass is actually fertilized grass from the edges of dog urine that was diluted or thin enough to not burn the grass. The center dead spot is the area that got the most concentrated dog pee and died as a result.
Fixing a spot like this is not hard. In fact, you don't even have to fix it because it will fix itself if given enough time. By taking the time to fix it now though the entire spot will improve faster and will blend back into the rest of the turf much quicker.

In this video, I used a common garden tool you probably already have, some garden soil, seed starting mix, and a plastic container to cover the seeded spot to improve germination.
