This video deals with question numbers 76 and 77 of NEET-UG phase 2 2016. The first question (q.76) demands to know the halide component used for Friedel Craft’s alkylation reaction. Aakash states that of all the options given, isopropyl chloride can be used as a halide component for Friedel crafts alkylation reaction because it is an alkyl halide. They also state that since isopropyl chloride is an alkyl chloride does not create resonance and can be used for the alkylation reaction. In question number 77, it is demanded to know and understand which molecules have all atoms as co-planar.Since co-planer means where all atoms lay on the same plane. It is seen that in the bi-phenyl molecule, two benzene atoms are lying on the same plane, therefore, are proved to be co-planar.
