Time-lapse build of the 2017 Lego Ideas 21309 Apollo Saturn V Rocket.

This set has 1969 pieces, which I love, considering that was the year Apollo XI landed on the moon. A nice touch from Lego.

It's a fun, if not too challenging, build. Because it's got a round cross-section, you do find yourself building the same thing 4 times (or 4 at the same time). Still, the finished model is over a metre tall and is absolutely beautiful.

This build is from December 2017. Build time took about 4 hours, shot on a Sony FDR-AX33 camera and edited in Final Cut Pro 7.
