Police said they were investigating reports of an assault and incidents of criminal damage to a pub in Birmingham after a large crowd gathered amid rumours of a “potential far-right protest” in the city on Monday, August 5.
Footage filmed by TikTok user @amirroyal_1 shows a crowd, some carrying Palestinian flags, outside The Clumsy Swan pub.
Amir told Storyful that one man was attacked at the pub but that the situation was “quickly defused.” He stressed he wasn’t involved, and said he would “strongly condemn” any violence.
