The day after our Half Dome adventure (October 2), we decided to take on an easier trail so we took the shuttle to Glacier Point and trekked down to Yosemite Valley! The 4 Mile Trail is actually closer to FIVE miles (4.6 plus about a half mile back to the car) but the views along the way make every bit of switchbacks worthwhile.
