Here's a Short Video.
On my way back from work I noticed birds working the water in a back harbor so I grabbed my rod to see what I could catch.
Unfortunately I didn't have my action camera on me.
I was able to catch about 5 schoolies and some on top water. It was extremely fun watching the fish smack the lure out of the water.
The fish were feeding on peanut bunker (menhaden) that eventually will make their way out into the LI Sound and ocean.
