In this video I introduce the Taylor cm-51 big truck wheel dyno I picked up. This will allow me to be able to do testing at the wheels just like my clayton dynos will allow me to do testing at the flywheel of the engine. I think it will be possible that if need be I can adapt my Clayton absorbers to the taylor gearboxes and handle way more power. With my Clayton absorbers I could hold about 2600hp by my calculations. These are power levels that the dyno can hold, the amount it can measure is in excess of those numbers just if the engine has more power it will accelerate thru the load. Hopefully it won't be too many years before I can afford to start building out the system to get this stuff up and running!
