The Light Park has returned to Retama Park in Selma Texas for another lit up 2024 Christmas light show. Costs run around $40 per vehicle during the week, higher on weekends. Enter off of southbound I35 access road, turning right onto Retama Parkway.

We were able to safely fly this location on a Saturday night, just after 10pm. We flew around the perimeter, using the Zoom lens on the drone to capture a more up close view for you. We used a spotter and did not fly over any moving vehicles (even the slow ones) or the employees sprinkled around the parking lot.

There was a 2nd drone who didn't seem to worry about the rules, flying over cars, across the road and across the event (with pedestrian and moving cars inside). That drone eventually landed inside the park near the big white tent where everyone had to show their tickets or pay admission.
