left from their respective residences in Delhi for Belagavi, Karnataka to attend Congress Working Committee meeting on Thursday.
The Congress will decide on an action plan for the next year at its CWC meeting starting in Karnataka's Belagavi to mark the 100th anniversary of the Belgaum session presided over by Mahatma Gandhi.
The extended Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Thursday has been named 'Nav Satyagraha Baithak' which would see two resolutions being passed.
The Congress is marking the current week as the 'Ambedkar Samman Saptah' against the "insult" of B R Ambedkar by Home Minister Shah.
On Friday, a 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan' rally will be held in Belagavi.
The working committee meeting will take place in the same venue where Mahatma Gandhi assumed the presidency of the Indian National Congress in 1924, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has completed all arrangements for the historic session.
About 200 leaders, including CWC members, permanent invitees, special invitees, central election committee members, Pradesh Congress Committee members, CLP leaders of the state, parliamentary party office bearers, and former party chief ministers will attend the session.
The Congress Working Committee meeting will be held at 3 pm, and the Congress President will host a dinner for the guests.
On December 27, Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will unveil the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Suvarna Soudha.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will preside over the function, and the programme will be held under the joint leadership of Karnataka Assembly Speaker U T Khader and Council Chairman Basvaraj Horatti.
A mega public meeting will be held at 1 pm.
