STEP 1.To remove the pup/offset from the parent plant, you will need to either disconnect it with a hand, or use a knife.Disconnecting the offset manually might be easier – just take a pup, twist it around and break it gently until it comes off.
STEP 2. After this, you will need to dry your pup for around 2-3hours before planting it. The best way to dry the pup is to place it vertically in an empty container with drainage holes.
STEP 3.Prepare the container and the soil for your new cactus. Don’t forget to use correct containers and drainage before adding soil.
