During the pandemic, it has become clear that our global economic system is simply not working for workers. Many workers-from small-scale farmers, to gig-economy drivers, to home healthcare workers-face unprecedented levels of economic instability and devastating inequality. What might a more fair and equitable future of work look like? How can we build a system that drives economic wellbeing for all and centers the wellbeing of the worker and the communities in which they live? In this cross-sector discussion, panelists will discuss what they've learned throughout the pandemic that we can carry forward as we reimagine a more inclusive, sustainable economic system that honors its most important asset: the worker.
