An absolutely fantastic afternoon session spent at Edinburgh Waverley which is one of the northern terminus of the East Coast Mainline.
The station is served primarily by Scotlands railway company Abellio ScotRail, with VTEC providing services to London Kings Cross and other stations in northern Scotland such as Inverness and Aberdeen. Other companies that can be found here are Cross Country and First Transpennine Express along with Virgin Trains.
Sadly I wasn't able to capture any of the services for First Transpennine Express as 350 401 and 350 410 departed with a service bound for Manchester Airport before I started filming.
The only VTEC service I capture is towards the start of the film with a HST service bound for Aberdeen as well as a Virgin Trains service terminating from London Euston.
Overall I really enjoyed filming here, I have never been here before but I certainly wasn't disappointed. Granted throughout the majority of this film it is mainly turbo stars but I do get a few other units making their appearances throughout the film. It is a station that I will definitely be coming back to and with any luck I will be able to go further into Scotland one day to film the likes of Motherwell and Glasgow Central.
I hope you all enjoy watching this as much as I did filming it.
