TRADITIONAL WIENER SCHNITZEL RECIPE with Anchovy Butter | the famous Austrian veal cutlet
Yes, guys! It's time for some Austrian goodies such as this amazing traditional Wiener Schnitzel. This is a recipe from 1831 which I got from our Austrian friend, Micha. This delicious veal cutlet is topped with some hot anchovy butter. Something that I have never tasted before - so super exciting for me, too, and it turned out lovely! The designation "Wiener Schnitzel" first appeared at the end of the 19th century, with the first known mention in a cookbook from 1831, hence this recipe. I love love love a good quality schnitzel - and especially the Viennese schnitzel as it must be made from veal which is really tender. Well, I hope you guys enjoy it! 🙂
