Hello everyone! We are back with another welkin giveaway, to take part, all you have to do is watch the whole video, subscribe and comment down your UID and server! Today, we’re diving into the Genshin 5.3 livestream date and everything we can expect it to cover. Firstly though, Genshin recently lost to Black Myth: Wukong in the Players’ Voice category at The Game Awards. While this means no extra 800 Primogems as a reward, players might still receive 800 Primogems for the nomination.
The Genshin 5.3 patch is right around the corner and easily one of the most anticipated updates in the game, packed with exciting new content. Naturally, everyone is eager for the 5.3 livestream to confirm details like banners and give us a sneak peek at what’s in store. Based on HoYoverse’s usual schedule, livestreams for new patches are typically released two weeks before the patch itself, on a Friday. Since Genshin 5.3 is launching on January 1st, we can expect the livestream to drop on December 20th. That’s less than a week away, and it’s definitely something to look forward to.
As for what the livestream will cover, we’re expecting official announcements about the banners. Current speculation suggests Mavuika and Citlali as the new characters, alongside Arlecchino and Clorinde as reruns. However, the exact phases for these characters remain unconfirmed. In addition to banners, we’re likely to hear about the new permanent rhythm-based game mode that involves playing music on the correct beats, which sounds like a fun addition.
The livestream should also provide details about upcoming events. These include a beetle-fighting event, a parkour challenge, and something reminiscent of Tetris. Of course, the highlight of this patch will be the Lantern Rite festival. This year’s celebration is shaping up to be amazing, with players able to select a free four-star Liyue character. As always, Lantern Rite will feature mini-events and login bonuses, offering plenty of Primogems for everyone.
On top of that, we’re getting two new skins in this patch! Xiangling and Hu Tao are both receiving their first skins. Xiangling’s skin is reportedly themed around New Year festivities and will likely be free, while Hu Tao’s skin is said to feature cherries and snow. Both are winter-themed and sure to add a fresh look to your characters.
One of the most exciting additions in this patch is the full C6 Pyro Traveler, which will be unlockable right away. Players can obtain the Pyro Traveler as soon as they complete the Archon Quest.
Overall, this patch has so much to offer — from the Pyro Archon and Pyro Traveler to the Lantern Rite, skins, and all the events. It’s shaping up to be one of the best updates yet.
