Singapore Consumer Unit RCCB test trip demo. Though RCCB (approved and tested under SS97) is aged, it is still in operation. But who should test it? It shall be tested monthly as recommended by EMA Energy Market Authority of Singapore.
Testing Sequence:
1. Inform all parties at home.
2. Shutdown Single Pole MCB B6, B10, B16, B20... Till we are left with DP MCB and 2P RCCB.
3. Ready to press Test Trip Button on RCCB. Press. Trip...
If it doesnt trip, change RCCB. (engage LEW )
4. If RCCB tripped good, prepare for turn on Sequence.
5. Turn On RCCB by pushing up the toggle.
Slowly, turn on Single Pole MCB...B6, B10, B16, B20. slowly with interval of 1-3 seconds.
