How to inspect the quality of fused cast AZS blocks ?
During the melting and casting process of fused cast AZS blocks , the special solidification process will cause chemical segregation inside the blocks , which makes the chemical composition and density of each block uneven. Two blocks with the same casting method have the same density and similar appearance, but the position and size of the shrinkage holes inside are different. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the filling quality inside the block to control the risk of glass leakage, especially in the key parts of the furnace . It is very important. Therefore, in order to reasonably control the shrinkage holes inside the block material so that customers can use it in different parts of the furnace with confidence, in addition to strictly controlling the shape and size of the riser during the production process, it is also particularly important to detect the shrinkage holes inside the block material.
Traditional shrinkage hole detection methods, such as ultrasonic method, weighing method, and block splitting method, all have limitations: the block splitting method is a destructive sampling test; the ultrasonic method is time-consuming and labor-intensive, so these two methods are not suitable for daily quality control. Although the weighing method is simple and intuitive, it cannot determine the exact location of the shrinkage hole.

Then all the obtained data is transferred to the software to obtain the results of quality inspection. In this way, the internal shrinkage of each block can be obtained quickly, accurately and non-destructively before the blocks leave the factory.
