Take-off gone wrong, far too windy for a forward launch, and to make matters worse, I really gave it some energy when bringing it up above my head.
I got off lightly! Usually this would incur a new prop at £300 and damage to the cage, and in some instances…a loss of limb, if I were to have not killed the engine and put my arm back through the prop 😨
I suffered no injuries other than a sore neck for 2 days, and there was just a scuff on the prop. Phew! Lucky I feel back on to sand!
