This is the stage where we see how the hell Shikanosuke managed to escape from the Mori. And where the Mori begin to continually refer to Shikanosuke as a deer. In Japanese, deer is pronounced "shika". his name his "Shika"nosuke. Yes, it's a very clever pun, and the writers are very proud of this pun to the point about 50% of the Mori's dialogue mentions a deer now.

Yeah, the Mori are so bland in this game you can just refer to them collectively. Motonari's the only one that actually gets shit done, and his personality is just a copy of Shingen's only with more mentions of deer.

Anyways, this stage has Shikanosuke go solo, which can make things difficult. As you notice it took me FOREVER to defeat the Mori in this stage because they all go into hyper mode and unless you leveled Shikanosuke more than you have any reason to prior to this or took the time to grind Citadel Mode to make him a kickass weapon, your stats are not going to be up to par for what this stage expects. It wasn't even difficult per say, they just had way too high defense so it took a long time.

Also, Motonari's castle looks an awful lot like Dosan's castle, doesn't it? Guess they hired the same contractor.
