This May, the Detroit Public Library had a visit from PBS Books and DPTV when they came to spend the day filming at the Main Library to record all our wonderful programs, events, exhibits and collections. The new videos will be a part of an online series they are launching called "PBS Books Library Showcase: Amazing Libraries." Collaborating with local PBS stations, PBS Books produced videos that aim to highlight the unique aspects and amazing work at libraries across the country. Make sure you you check out the Detroit Public Library's videos on "Art and Cultural Gathering Place" and "Detroit Reads."
