During Vistex Asia-Pacific's silver jubilee celebration at Ramoji Film City, CEO Sanjay Shah died and President Vishwanath Raju Datla was severely injured when an iron cage collapsed. The incident occurred as they were being lowered onto the dais for a planned event. A snapped wire caused a 15-foot fall, resulting in multiple injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, Shah succumbed, and Raju is critical. The collapsing cage, pulled by a rolling machine, had iron wires and grills. A case under IPC sections 304A and 336 involves RFC management, event managers, security, special effects contractor, and rope operator. The two-day celebrations were held at RFC.
