Tata Tiago is the most successful and worth buying Hatchback. The segment of Hatchback has so much competition these days but Tiago did outstanding among all the available Hatchbacks of all different Brands. Tiago is available with both Petrol and CNG fuel options.

Variants & Colours
Tata Tiago has four variants available for single fuel option - XE, XM, XT and XZ+ and AMT (automatic) transmission will be available with only XT and XZ+ which are called XTA and XZA+. Along with that Tiago has a crossover version too which is called Tiago NRG.
Tata Tiago with Bi-fuel option will be available in four variants - XE, XM, XT and XZ+ and also available in Tiago NRG too.
The Colours available with Tiago are four shades - Opal White, Daytona Grey, Arizona Blue and Flame Red (these colours are common among all variants) and the top variant XZ+ has one more colour option which is Midnight Plum. Also, this Midnight Plum colour is also available in dual tone option in XZ+ with black roof.
The Tiago NRG has four Colour shades - Foresta Green, Fire Red, Polar White and Cloudy Grey.
Engine & Transmission
The Tata Tiago has one engine option which is a 1.2litres revotron three cylinder engine. But it has two fuel options one is only petrol and another is petrol + CNG. The same engine gives different power and torque while driving on petrol or on CNG. For Petrol the engine will give an output of 86ps and torque of 113 nm whereas in CNG the same engine will produce the power of 73ps and torque of 95 nm. Also for CNG the drive modes have also been removed.
The ARAI figures for petrol is 19.27kmpl and for CNG it is 26.49km per KG.
The Petrol fuel options will have 5speed Manual and 5speed AMT transmissions but with Bi-fuel engine only 5speed manual transmission will be available.

Our Experience of Tiago CNG Drive
We took Tiago CNG for a real time mileage check. We filled the CNG tank to full and drove the car for 195KMs with three passengers on Board with AC on. We drove most of it on the highway at a speed of 90kmph and City drive was only for 15-20kms. After 195kms we again refilled the CNG tank. The Mileage results were so amazingly good as we got the mileage of 35km per KG. Yes The mileage always depends upon the driving styles of the individual but if we drive this beautiful hatch at a constant speed without giving unnecessary stress to the engine this vehicle will definitely make your trips so economically good. The use of a single advanced ECU makes your drive so smooth even when you switch between petrol and CNG fuel.
