My personal tribute to the most mysterious song on the internet.

For many years, they had unintentionally eluded the world, who only had this gem of a song to begin a colossal search for the identity of the group who had recorded it.

The theories that surrounded this mystery stretched across a wide spectrum. Everything from a band throwing their demo tape over the Berlin Wall in an attempt to escape East Germany to just a group of guys who had a high school band but then went their own ways, left their musical stint behind and were perhaps deceased by now.
However, I believe that for many of us following these developments as they unfolded, whether it was something epic or lackluster, we just wanted an answer. And what an answer we received!

So, why would I record a cover of the only song I know from a band that nobody knew about for decades? Well, aside from the fact that it's a great song that I've grown to love and that's so much fun to jam, I feel that a happy ending such as this is something to be celebrated. I realize that many musicians have also covered it and I think it's wonderful because perhaps we as musicians, all feel a connection to it and are inspired by it on so many levels. I hope many more people will enjoy listening to it and play their own versions, all of us telling the story of Fex, the most sought after band on the internet!
