Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Age Limit
18-22 Years
For Navik (GD) and Yantrik: 01st Aug 2000 to 31st July 2004
For Navik (DB): 01th Oct 2000 to 30th Sep 2004
(Upper Age Relaxation Of 5 Years For SC/ST And 3 Years For OBC Candidates)
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Educational Qualification
Navik (General Duty):- 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch):- 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik:- 10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

ICG Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
The Selection process involves 4 stages, we will discuss the step by step selection process. The selection of recruits is based on an all India order of merit on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV ) and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG.

Stage1
Stage one includes written examination, there are different sections in the written exam for different posts It is compulsory to pass each section separately. The passing marks differ according to the category of candidate. The candidate has to take following tests depending on post applied:-
