Best Prayers To Fall Asleep When Can't Sleep| Peacefully/ Talk To God To Invite God's Presence.
O Gracious And Loving God,
Thank You Father for the gift of Night And the beauty of Sleep.
In Your infinite wisdom, You have wired our bodies system this way, that we may be refreshed physically,
and our spirits renewed, through the long hours of Night sleep.
Father God,
though there is chaos and calamity all around me, You strengthened me, and cause me to step on a safe place,
You cover me, and help me, through all of the battles of life, everyday, and even in this day that has come to an end.
You have never forsake me or leave me, but your presence preserves, and kept me throughout the course of this day,
Lord, I say , thank you, in the name of Jesus Christ .
Heavenly Father, for far too long I have disobeyed Your command for rest.
Forgive me my act of disobedience.
I have worked with little or without rest, a like machine; nonstop and without taking time out, to truly sit in Your presence, and rest.
I have missed opportunities to be replenished and revitalized my spirit & soul, in You.
And in some cases, I have skipped precious moment of reading Your Word, to hear what You have to tell me, or teach me.
Many a time , my moment of praising, and worshiping You, for who You are , is scanty,
because, I have worked without ceasing, and my mind is too preoccupied, by my daily works.
Forgive me , Lord - For these are all wrong - I am sorry for my inability to serve You well, in a satisfying way.
Have mercy on me, O Lord, I pray, in Jesus' name.
Merciful Father, All these too often cause me to lie awake at night, and makes me unable, to catch hold of sleep every night,
because, my mind continues to toss, and turn over, all the problems of the day in my heart, which seem to swirl around my mind,
when I know that I should be meditating on Your Word and sleeping soundly.
Please Lord, forgive my weakness, and rest my thoughts, in the name of Jesus
Lord, Laying on bed. and tossing up and down, sleeplessly, and to lay awake all night without a good sleep, is detrimental to my bodies and spirits.
This is not Your will for me or any of Your children-
You have fashioned our bodies, in such a way that, they need a daily cycle of rest, refreshment and rejuvenation,
and I pray that, You would enable me, to hand over all my worries , and all my concerns to You day by day, and especially when I lie down, to sleep at night-time,
That I may enjoy, the gift of sleep, by sleeping soundly with sweet dreams, every night, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father in heaven, As Your Word encourage us in 1st peter , chapter 5 , verse 7 , Saying, cast your care upon Him for He cares for you.
Thank you, Lord, that you love and cares for me, Help me to Trust in Your Word of truth, as You have promised,
And to solely rely on You, to Keep me from dwelling on anxious thoughts, and to help me commit all my cares into Your hands, as soon as they come into my mind - in Jesus' name.
Lord, as I trust in You by Your Word,
Fill my heart with Your quietness, and promised of Your peace. Even though, it usually seems that, the problems and anxieties of life,
that I am going through, always tends to multiply, and magnify, during the night time hours.
Help me never to forget that, You have promised to be with me – even in the darkest times, and that, I should never be filled with worrying,
As it is written in Matthew , chapter 6 , verse 34 , saying,
So, don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries, Today's trouble is enough for today
Therefore, Loving Father, Help me to give every single anxious thoughts , over to You, and keep me from going to sleep, with worries and problems flooding through my mind.
And I pray that , I would learn to keep the eyes of my faith, focusing on Jesus, and the thoughts of my mind resting on Christ Jesus alone -
because, You have promised, to give Your perfect peace, to the everyone whose mind is stayed on Jesus,
as it is written , in Isaiah , chapter 26, verse 3 . I receive and claim this promise over life, this night, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Thank You, Gracious Father, that as my heavenly Shepherd, You have promised to lead me beside the still waters, to make me to lie down safely in green pastures, and to restore my soul , As it is written in Psalm 23, verse 2 & 3, and to give me ,Your beloved, peaceful sleep, in its proper time.
I claim this promise now, in the name of Jesus.
I am so grateful, Lord, for the many precious promises, that You give to all Your children,
and I pray that, tonight and, in the days ahead, that I will both lie down and sleep soundly, and in peace on my bed every night ,
for You alone can make me to dwell in safety, as you word declares it , in Psalms, chapter 4, verse 8.
by faith, I receive this promise of safety, and peaceful night sleep, In the mighty name of Jesus.
