Title: Understanding the effect of disturbance on the function, structure and assembly of complex microbial communities, using activated sludge for wastewater treatment as a model system.
Bringing together academics and industry members from both countries, the ‘R&D and Innovation in the Water Sector’ webinar series aims to address problems relating to the water cycle, from source to tap, and expound on the innovations that have been developed to combat these issues. The second webinar focused on tackling industrial and greasy wastewater and also using ecological theory to evaluate microbial process performance.
This is a joint series from the National Biofilms Innovation Centre (NBIC), Singapore National Biofilm Consortium (SNBC), Singapore Membrane Consortium (SGMEM) and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE).
