Several areas of north Wales have been told to prepare for flooding, as emergency services advise people to heed weather warnings.
Buses replaced trains between Holyhead and Llandudno Junction, and some trains between south Wales and London have been cancelled due to flooding between Swindon and Bristol.
Forecasters say heavy rain will move across the north of the country.
In the south, a landslip closed the A466 at Llandogo in Monmouthshire.
The A4086 in Llanberis, Gwynedd, and the A5 at Llangollen, Denbighshire, were said to be just passable due to the volume of water on the roads.
