The Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Congregatio Sanctissimi Redemptoris: CSsR; The Redemptorists) is a Clerical Religious Congregation of Potinfical Right of the Roman Catholic Church founded on 9th November, 1732, by St Alphonsus Maria De Liguori in Scala, Italy. The Generalate of the Congregation is in Rome, Italy and Very Rev Fr Michael Brehl, CSsR is the Superior General. Members of the Congregation are Consecrated Religious Catholic Priests and Consecrated Religious Brothers.
