In the second part of the testimonial with Glencore Kidd Operations, the local team in Timmins (Canada) goes through all the steps they make during the postflight processing stage of the data, using Inspector software. The key aspect that they convey is that Elios allows to show ground personnel exactly what the conditions are like in the mine without going under, thanks to visual representations that are much more effective than a description from a person. This is especially true because of the possibility of showing both the scan and the video together. Other ways of collecting these visual representations would be much more time- and resource-consuming. The accuracy of the Lidar allows for overtime comparison and change detection to continuously monitor the condition of the mine, especially after seismic events.
